Hello, I\u2019m Nicole! I was born and raised in Philadelphia, USA but I moved to Tokyo, Japan in 2023 to pursue my Master\u2019s at Bunka Gakuen University. After I discovered Shoujo anime in middle school, I\u2019ve been infatuated with the way girliness is so freely accepted in Japan, and I\u2019ve been wearing some variation of Japanese fashion ever since. My Master\u2019s thesis is on Lolita fashion and how it reinterprets Western aesthetics to create something uniquely Japanese.
